The first day is a combination of lecture and hands-on training. We discuss the science behind the Medical Massage concept, its clinical application, and a layer-by-layer evaluation of soft tissues. We will share with you unprecedented scientific and clinical data: you will witness fascinating images from living tissue, cadaver studies, clinical cases, and even DNA analysis reflecting clinical aspects of Massage Therapy. Please join us for a firsthand look at the clinical science behind Medical Massage!
Day 2. Medical Massage Protocol for TMJ Dysfunction. Positioning Vertigo
The first part of the class is a detailed discussion of the anatomy and physiology of the Temporomandibular Joint as well as all causes of its dysfunction. We will cover a step-by-step evaluation of the soft tissues in the suboccipital space, the temporal area, and the TMJ area. This part of the class finishes with step-by-step application of Medical Massage protocol to eliminate tension in the soft tissues, which control TMJ function and decompress the joint itself to restore the patient’s normal bite.
The second part of the class explains the complex chain of events that triggers Positioning Vertigo and presents highly effective Semont’s Protocol to eliminate it by resetting otoliths in the inner ear.
