SEMINAR PROGRAM

Day 1: Medical Massage Protocol for  Chronic Cervical Pain Hands-On Training Course

During the class, we will cover anatomy, physiology, pathology, and the examination of the major causes of tension in the posterior cervical muscles (Trapezius, Semispinalis Capitis, and Levator Scapulae).

Next, we will discuss the detailed evaluation of the soft tissues in the posterior neck and upper shoulders on a layer-by-layer basis.

Finally, we will cover a step-by-step Medical Massage Protocol to decompress skin, fascia, posterior cervical muscles, and periosteum in the posterior neck and upper shoulders.

Day 2: Medical Massage Protocol for Chronic Headache/Migraine Hands-On Training Course

This class takes students through all aspects of Chronic Tension Headache and Migraines, from clinical evaluation of the soft tissues and local pathology to step-by-step treatment using the Medical Massage Protocol. This protocol is live changing for the patients with Chronic Headaches and Migraine!

This Medical Massage protocol is recognized and currently used in several hospitals, including world-renowned clinical and scientific institutions such as the Barrow Neurological Institute. Several of our students have built their entire practice around the clinical effectiveness of Medical Massage Protocols for Chronic Headaches.

Day 3: Medical Massage Protocol for Middle Back Pain. Intercostal Nerve Neuralgia

The class covers tension in the middle back muscles: the lower trapezius, paravertebral muscles, and rhomboids. The important part of the class is interactions between ribs and intercostal muscles, as well as their role in Intercostal Nerve Neuralgia.

We start with the anatomy, physiology, and function of all major players, including the respiratory system. We cover soft-tissue evaluation of the middle back and chest, layer by layer, and all Medical Massage protocols to eliminate tension in the soft tissues, including respiratory techniques to decompress affected soft tissues. Homework for patients as a preventive measure is also discussed.
