SEMINAR PROGRAM
Day 1: Chronic Headache and Migraine. Hands-On Training Course
This class takes students through all aspects of Chronic Tension Headache and Migraines, from clinical evaluation of the soft tissues and local pathology to step-by-step treatment using the Medical Massage Protocol.
This Medical Massage protocol is recognized and currently used in several hospitals, including world-renowned clinical and scientific institutions such as the Barrow Neurological Institute. Several of our students have built their entire practice around the clinical effectiveness of Medical Massage Protocols for Chronic Headaches. \
Day 2: Medical Massage Protocol for Lower Back Pain Hands-On Training Course
Lower Back Pain is a general name for many syndromes that contribute to this widespread pathology. In other words, it is a multifaced enemy. Clinical success depends on the ability of the therapist to correctly identify and target the initial triggers rather than secondary syndromes, which are frequently the most prominent.
During this course, we will cover the anatomy and pathology of the lumbar area, necessary evaluation and testing skills to develop correct treatment strategy for tension in the Lumbar Erectors, Quadratus Lumborum muscle, and rotators.
Day 3: Medical Massage Protocol for Soft Tissue Trauma/Leg Compartment Syndrome/ Plantar Fasciitis Hands-On Training Course
During the first part of the class, we will teach therapists how to ‘read’ large hematomas to accelerate tissue recovery and prevent the side effects of soft tissue trauma, including fascial adhesions and muscle shortening.
In the second part of the class, we will cover evaluation and Medical Massage protocols for all Leg Compartment Syndromes, and we will conclude the training with hands-on training in a Medical Massage protocol for Plantar Fasciitis.
