SEMINAR PROGRAM
Day 1: Medical Massage Protocol for Middle Back Pain. Intercostal Nerve Neuralgia Hands-On Training Course
The class covers tension in the middle back muscles: the lower trapezius, paravertebral muscles, and rhomboids. The important part of the class is interactions between ribs and intercostal muscles, as well as their role in Intercostal Nerve Neuralgia.
We start with the anatomy, physiology, and function of all major players, including the respiratory system. We cover soft-tissue evaluation of the middle back and chest, layer by layer, and all Medical Massage protocols to eliminate tension in the soft tissues, including respiratory techniques to decompress affected soft tissues. Homework for patients as a preventive measure is also discussed.
Day 2: Medical Massage Protocol for Pectorials Major and Minor Muscle Syndrome Hands-On Training Course
We start this class with the evaluation and treatment of patients with tension and spasms of pectoral muscles. From mimicking Cardiac Pain in the form of Fase Cardialgia Syndrome to various abnormalities in the function of the upper extremities, tension in the pectoral muscles is indeed very frequently mistreated with somatic syndrome.
We will discuss all anatomical and pathological aspects, as well as detailed evaluation of the soft tissues layer by layer and hands-on application of the Medical Massage protocol.
Day 3: Medical Massage Protocol for TMJ Dysfunction/Benign Positioning Vertigo Hands-On Training Course
The first part of the class is a detailed discussion of the anatomy and physiology of the Temporomandibular Joint, as well as all causes of its dysfunction. We will cover a step-by-step evaluation of the soft tissues in the suboccipital, temporal, and TMJ areas. This part of the class finishes with a step-by-step application of the Medical Massage protocol to eliminate tension in the soft tissues that control TMJ function and to decompress the joint itself, restoring the patient’s normal bite.
The second part of the class explains the complex chain of events that triggers Positioning Vertigo and presents highly effective Semont’s Protocol to eliminate it by resetting otoliths in the inner ear.
