Basic Medical Massage Techniques
Studying and practicing medical massage without a firm scientific understanding of Basic Medical Massage techniques and their clinical application is impossible.
SOMI offers 8 hours LIVE Hands-on Webinar class with Dr. Ross Turchaninov to cover this topic. The class consists of two 4-hour segments: presented Saturday and Sunday.
We will cover the science behind clinical variations of Medical Massage techniques developed by the Western School of MT. Some presented techniques can be used as part of full-body massage sessions to build up a successful preventive massage therapy practice.
Everyone who finishes the class will get SOMI’s Certificate for 8 CEUs recognized by National Board.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Only 10 participants
- Therapists must have the following:
– web camera
– massage table with a volunteer
This Zoom Webinar is interactive and requires on-camera participation. Therapists will be expected to demonstrate massage techniques learned during the Webinar for the instructor’s feedback and guidance.
