This Webinar is NCBMTB-approved for 8 CEUs. The 8-hour program is now split into two 4-hour segments on two separate days to better support material retention.

Basic Medical Massage Techniques

Studying and practicing medical massage without a firm scientific understanding of Basic Medical Massage techniques and their clinical application is impossible. 

To cover this topic, SOMI offers an 8-hour LIVE Hands-on Webinar class with Dr. Ross Turchaninov. The class consists of two 4-hour segments, presented on Saturday and Sunday.  

We will cover the science behind clinical variations of Medical Massage techniques developed by the Western School of MT. Some of the techniques presented can be used as part of full-body massage sessions to build up a successful preventive massage therapy practice.  

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

1. Only 12 participants
2. Therapists must have the following:

 

– web camera 

– massage table with a volunteer
