Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome to the July-August issue of the Journal of Massage Science. We offer our readers the following important information in this issue.
Our Person of the Month for this issue is Ruth Werner, LMP, NCTMB, who is a well-known educator and the newly elected President of the Massage Therapy Foundation. Her interview gives an inside look into the future plans for this important professional organization.
In this issue, we start to publish articles on Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction. This article is written by Dr. A. Bipar, and we published Part I, which covered the anatomy and physiology of the temporomandibular joint.
The Case of the Month for this issue comes from our clinic, and it shows the great clinical potential of medical massage therapy in helping a patient who suffered from impotence as a complication of Pudendal Nerve Neuralgia.
The Good Apples/Bad Apples section of our Journal gives you a chance to read reviews of scientifically based articles published in four major professional journals.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ross Turchaninov, MD
