Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Welcome to JMS Issue #1 of 2019. We appreciate the support of our readers from all around the world. Here is the content of the current issue we hope you will enjoy:

Our Person of the Month for this issue of JMS is Winner of 2018 International Case of the Month competition Theresa M. Brumble, RT(R)(CT), LMT, LLLT. We congratulate Theresa who was chosen by our readers as a Winner, but we would like also to express our deep gratitude to three therapists who also submitted their clinical cases to JMS in 2018: B. In the Science of Medical Massage section, we published two articles:

In the first article, “Oncology Massage Rehabilitation. Part I: Newest Scientific Data, Commonly Used Cancer Treatments and Their Side Effects” Vanessa Sifontes, Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Specialist shares with our readers newest scientific and clinical data on cancer therapy from the perspective of MT.

The second article written by “Cellular Mechanisms Of Massage Therapy: New Scientific Data”, Dr. Ross Turchaninov reviews results of study published in 2018 in Journal of Physiology.
